Wheels India, a TVS group automotive components company based in south India has plans to manufacture wind turbine components. It has already set up a facility in Wardha in Maharashtra with an investment of Rs. 400 million to to manufacturer structural components for thermal power plants (non-automotive sector) which has set up specially to derisk its business from auto industry cyclical nature. Structural components which were in short supply.
