Aditya Birla Renewable Energy Ltd is setting up a 86.1 MW wind power project near Fulsar in Gujarat. The company has awarded the balance of plant package to K P Energy Ltd. As per the contract, the renewable company will be responsible for the installation of wind operated electricity generators, commonly known as windmill or WTG, each of 2X models. In addition, the firm will also provide a range of services, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) for the project. It intends project work to be completed in the upcoming financial year.
The project also involves tasks like land acquisition, design, manufacturing, supply, construction, erection, testing and commissioning for the BoP as well as securing the necessary approvals and permits for the project.
