Adani Green Energy Ltd is planning to set up 500 MW of wind power project in Kutch district of Gujarat. The company has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Inox Wind Ltd to develop the project. As per the LoI, Inox Wind will construct and commission 501.6 MW of wind power projects won under the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) auctions.
Inox will use 3.3 MW Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) with 145 mtr rotor dia and 100/120 mtr hub height for the project. These turbines will be amongst the highest rated turbines with the largest rotor dia to be made available in the Indian market.
