Global Wind Power Ltd, a Anil Dhirubhai Reliance group company had acquired expertise from Danish, Norway and German companies. It is manufacturing 750 kw Norwin turbine (GWP-750 kw) and GWP-82 of capacity 2000 kw from Lagerwey Wind. In addition, it has received a full licence from Fuhrlander of Germany for GWP 100 – 2500 kW asynchronous machine, variable speed turbine model originally designed by W2E. The company also has tied up China’s Ming Yang Wind Power group.
