NLC India is planning to develop a 200 MW wind power project. The company is to develop the project on behalf of SJVN and has won the contract through a reverse auction bid from the company. The bidding tariff is ₹ 3.75 per kWh. It may be noted that, NLC India has ventured into renewable energy from 2013 and now has a portfolio of 300 MW.
